Quality and Service Information

AVRPART's basic principles for product selection checks, shipment checks, installation guidance and after-sales communication.

Updated:

This information helps clarify what customers and AVRPART need to check during enquiries, receipt, installation and after-sales communication. Parts may differ by brand, model and batch. Orders, product nameplates, manufacturer documentation and written confirmation between both parties take precedence.

Checks Before Selection and Quotation

To reduce compatibility risks, provide:

  • Generator set, engine or alternator brand and complete model;
  • Original part brand, part number, revision and nameplate photos;
  • Photos of connections, plugs, mounting holes and dimensions;
  • Rated voltage, frequency, power, operating supply and other key specifications;
  • Operating environment, fault symptoms, required quantity and destination.

Where information is insufficient or multiple compatible revisions exist, we identify outstanding checks. Similar appearance is not the sole basis for selection.

Pre-Shipment Checks

Depending on the product and order, basic checks may include:

  1. Product name, model and quantity against the order;
  2. Appearance, labels, connections and supplied accessories;
  3. Protective packaging and transport markings;
  4. \[Pending client input: applicable power-on, functional or inspection checks\];
  5. \[Pending client input: inspection records, serial numbers or shipment photos that may be provided\].

Receipt and Installation

  • Check outer packaging, product models and quantities on receipt. Retain packaging, shipping labels, photos and videos if transport damage is found;
  • Isolate relevant power supplies before installation and use appropriately qualified or experienced personnel;
  • Follow the equipment and part manufacturers' official manuals for wiring, settings and commissioning;
  • If old and new part revisions differ, confirm terminal assignments and configuration compatibility before installation;
  • Do not continue operating with a fault caused by incorrect wiring, use outside rated conditions or unauthorised disassembly or modification.

After-Sales Communication

For assistance, provide order details, product nameplates, installation wiring photos, symptoms, test data and any necessary videos. We first check the product and operating conditions before suggesting further investigation.

  • Warranty period: \[Pending client input: period and start date by product category\];
  • Return/exchange conditions: \[Pending client input: rules for uninstalled, installed and customised products, and packaging condition\];
  • Shipping costs: \[Pending client input: allocation for quality issues, selection errors and customer-caused issues\];
  • Response time: \[Pending client input: working hours and typical response times\];
  • Exclusions: \[Pending client input: incorrect installation, overload, water ingress, burning, unauthorised disassembly and other boundaries\].

This page does not create an additional warranty applying uniformly to all products. Transaction and after-sales terms are governed by the order, contract, manufacturer policies and written agreement between both parties.
