Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about generator set parts enquiries, replacements, documents, delivery, installation and after-sales support.

Updated:

These questions help customers prepare the information needed for enquiries, product selection, installation and after-sales communication. Requirements vary by brand, model and order. The specific product documentation and written agreement between both parties take precedence.

Enquiries and Product Selection

What information is needed for an enquiry?

Provide the equipment and original part brands, complete models, part numbers, nameplate and connection photos, key specifications, quantity, destination and desired lead time. For replacements, also describe the original part's fault symptoms and operating environment.

Can parts with the same appearance always be interchanged?

No. Similar-looking products may differ in voltage rating, pin assignments, mounting holes, parameter ranges, software revisions or control logic. Check the model and specifications before ordering.

Can you help find an alternative if the original model is unavailable?

We can help check alternatives when sufficient information is available. A replacement may require changes to wiring, settings or mounting. Do not install it without confirmation. Compatibility must be established using manufacturer documentation, measured data and written confirmation.

Is the complete equipment model enough to identify a part?

It can narrow the options in some cases, but the same equipment model may use different part batches or revisions. Also provide the original part's nameplate, part number, connection photos and dimensions wherever possible.

Documents, Pricing and Delivery

Can you provide manuals or wiring diagrams?

For documents that may be shared publicly or with permission, we check the specific model and revision. Specify the document type, product model, revision and required language.

Is a website price the final transaction price?

If no explicit price is shown, request a quotation based on the model, quantity, stock availability, destination, shipping method and trade terms. A valid quotation or order determines the final price.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

\[Pending client input: MOQ rules for stock items, ordered items, customised products or different product categories.\]

What is the usual lead time?

\[Pending client input: approximate lead times for stock, ordered and customised products, including when the lead time starts.\]

Which payment and shipping methods are supported?

\[Pending client input: payment methods, trade terms, courier/air/sea freight options and service destinations.\]

Can you provide export or compliance documents?

\[Pending client input: available invoices, packing lists, origin documents, certifications and other documents.\]

Installation and Technical Support

Can I install a part immediately after receiving it?

First check the model, labels, connections, dimensions and packaging condition. Installation should be performed by experienced personnel following the manufacturer's manual. For controllers and AVRs, also check settings, wiring and revision compatibility.

What should I do if a fault occurs after installation?

Immediately stop any operation that could worsen the fault. Record alarms, wiring, measurements, photos and videos. Do not repeatedly replace parts or test equipment with an unresolved fault. Send the information to technical support before deciding on the next step.

Is remote commissioning available?

\[Pending client input: supported products, tools, working hours, languages and charges for remote assistance.\]

When should I stop troubleshooting on my own?

Stop the equipment immediately and seek professional assistance if there is smoke, an unusual smell, abnormal heating, water ingress, damaged insulation, severe vibration, a high-voltage risk or failed safety protection.

After-Sales Support and Returns

What is the warranty period?

\[Pending client input: warranty periods, start dates and applicable conditions for each product category.\]

Can an incorrectly selected or installed product be returned?

\[Pending client input: rules for uninstalled, installed and customised products, packaging condition and shipping costs.\]

What information is needed to report a quality issue?

Usually the order details, product nameplate, packaging and product photos, installation wiring, fault symptoms, measurements and videos are required. Retain the product, packaging and labels until the issue has been assessed.

How soon will I receive a reply?

\[Pending client input: working hours, time zone and target response times for enquiries, technical support and after-sales issues.\]
